I’m ok with a down year. What hurts the most in the recruiting spectrum was the Brekkot Chapman flame out / checkout.
The kid was a top 50 recruit, long, athletic, if he gains modest amounts of muscle and strength each year, he’s a big asset. If he works a little hard and follows the program he’s top tier PAC 12 player this year as an upper classman.
Utah landed Brekkot Chapman….but ultimately it was a miss.
Momentum is a killer when it goes the wrong way. Chapman was a big deal that should have attracted other talent to come to Utah and win.
