I’m reading “My Life on a Napkin” sort-of-written by Majerus the Great. He described his job, circa 1999, as the fourth-best in the WAC behind BYU (“Mormons”), New Mexico (“The Pit”), and Fresno (“only game in town and they’re rich”). As in football, we’re feeling our way through a new era.
Maybe Larry should read this book anyway and throw out all the eccentricities because there’s a few wisdoms about being a great coach. RIP, Coach Maji.
