      My daughter turns 8 tomorrow, and I just told her that we’re spending her birthday at Comic Con.  The look on her face was worth every penny of the ticket price.

       

      I’m pretty sure she’s more excited for this than she was for Christmas.

      Oh, you can rest assured there will be lots of geeks at Comic Con. 😉

      Have fun with your daughter. Sounds like a good thing to do if she’s that excited about it. Me, I’m spending the afternoon and evening in The Viv watching some hoops.

      We went last year with our three kids. We had a Kylo Ren, Captain Phasma and Stormtrooper. It was fun. They enjoyed seeeing all the costumes and getting ideas to make their own. Fun stuff.

        We’re not dressing up, but she did get a new Star Wars t-shirt for the occasion.

        And I’m busting out my Big Trouble in Little China shirt. 🙂

          Awesome. I think I’ll dust off my Big Trouble DVD and watch that tonight.

      That explains why there was a dude decked out as Star Trek’s Data on the train next to me this morning.
