  That is mad respect for a game that ended late on the east coast. Many people are saying how Oregon had a chance to beat MSU and Utah thrashed Oregon. Michigan doing well is also huge for Utahs opening season win.

  Just wondering though…
  
  Where would Utah be ranked if there were no polls until Week 4? Preseason polls can be problematic because voters are judging teams based on bad information like how good was last year’s team and what teams have long-standing traditions. Then once a team is highly ranked there is a tendency to not drop them unless they lose.
  
  If Week 4 was the first round of voting, would Utah have cracked the top 5?
