WVA…when you are down by 3, with 10 seconds left in the game, you don’t try to run down the clock for your shot. Shoot it. If you miss, at least there is a chance for rebound. This has happened several times in this tourney. 

If it’s a tied game, then by all means wait for the last second. I learned this when I was young.
