Stumbled across this little write up on SOS based on ESPN’s FPI.

      http://www.fbschedules.com/2017/08/2017-college-football-strength-of-schedule-rankings-espn-fpi/

Here’s how the Pac-12 teams stack up, plus a couple of other teams of interest.

      1. California

      6. USC

      7. Stanford

      8. UCLA

      9. Arizona State

      12. Utah

      18. Oregon State

      39. Washington State

      40. TCU

      43. Washington

      46. Oregon

      48. Arizona

      50. Colorado

      72. BYU

      79. Boise State

      80. Utah State

Yeah, our schedule is ridiculous. Early bye game, and no OSU and Cal.

That being said, I think OSU is a lot tougher this year than they are giving us credit for. It sucks that we get Arizona so early. I’d rather play them later when ARod has quit and the rest of the team has checked out.

Yep, I’ve got OSU being bowl eligible this year and having most of their losses come down to the wire.

Our only hope for a lighter schedule is to have the AZ schools struggle again along with UCLA and then hope that Colorado falls down a peg or two with the talent they lost and a new DC. But even if all of that happens, we will still have a top 25 schedule.

It’s not like we beat Cal last year.

Losing to a bad team does not mean we are lucky to not play that bad team the next year. Especially after they lost the only player keeping them from the bottom of the conf

Playing byu is really hurting our strength of schedule.

This is why i chuckle every time a byu fan says they are “basically p5”

I mean, there are multiple levels on which that statement is hilarious. But this is the actual football one
