      Are there places to tailgate without paying for a spot? I’ve never tailgated at the U and am wondering if you have to buy a pass to all of the open lots or if there are free spots…

      I don’t think there are “open” areas. They charge for everything.

      You could always stop by my tailgate and say hello:

      Most of the lots are pay lots for game now, however most all of them allow you to set up a tailgate. I think you will pay $20/car in most lots.
