The loss yesterday basically eliminated our chances at winning the South so we really don’t have much to play for other than a crappy bowl game. So now we can play a little looser and get young guys more playing time. Get a jump start on next year.

I went back and read my predictions of a 7-5 season and while I’m feeling a bit like that was overly optimistic, I also went into this season thinking TOTAL REBUILD YEAR…and that’s what we are getting.

Wish we’d stop scheduling total scrubs in our first 3 games. We don’t need world killers…but how about a Wyoming, a Kansas, and a Duke or Rutgers. That way we would learn a bit more about the team before hitting Pac12 walls.

Completely agree. We need a stronger OOC intro to conference play or else complacency games like yesterday are all but guaranteed to happen.

I remember that…then I take a hammer and hit myself in the head till I forget again. I FRIGGIN HATE that game. It’s a waste. We have nothing to gain, no exposure, no ranking, nothing.

Replace them with SDSU, Kansas, or….USU! Yes USU! Please!

Why do we think we will challenge next year? Something isn’t right with the program. We seem to have NFL caliber talent per NFL draft and free agent signing results but somehow this coaching staff/program doesn’t harness all of their ability. Maybe this is as good as it gets in the Pac 12 with Whittingham and staff. Being a middle of the road program isn’t the worlds worst crime after all.
