  Why was coach K so p**sed? Was he mad at the players or was it the refs?
  
  The TDS board is full of how coach K is a crybaby and how all the Cooter fans would never cheer for their coach if he were to get upset during a game. I guess if my coach couldn’t get through the first round of the NIT I wouldn’t cheer him on if he pulled a tantrum.

    Scripted. LK knew exactly what he was doing. That was the only way he could wake his team up, and it worked. Took a page straight out of Jerry Sloan’s book.

      Exactly…….this was 100% intentional and worked like a charm. Tons of coaches have done this. The team was sleep walking. I don’t blame them, no kid grows up saying “I can’t wait to play in the NIT”.

      Yes scripted but the call on Collete was horrible. He goes straight up, has both hands about the grab the ball directly over his head and the Davis player goes over his back. Very smart move by Larry for losing it. It woke the team up, his coaching staff and the fans big time.

    There were a few HORRID calls in a row (Including a charge on Collette when the defender was in the restricted area and not even close to being set otherwise) The call that finally set him off was on a Utah inbounds pass. The Davis defender slammed into Collette and hit the ball OB. The ref gave the ball to Davis
    
    What’s funny is Rose threw a tantrum in their game, but only enough to get 1 technical

    Triggered by a very bad non-foul call where we were hacked on an inbounds play. I think it was Larry’s last ditch effort to fire the team up. They were shooting blanks. It apparently worked.
