…of a trap game for sure. Bad weather, on the road. I hope our boys come prepared and don’t overlook NIU. Got me nervous. I’m sure coaches will do their best to get them up for the game.

That and I don’t think NIU is as bad as they looked on paper last week. It was a game at halftime.

John Pease was spot on. We need to go out and start fast. Show them from play one we are a lot better than Iowa and they ought to just give up.

If we let them hang around, it could get scary.

With Moss and Shyne and our O line in the running game, and our defense smothering them… I’d take bad conditions. We would have an advantage.

If our O Line looks like they did towards the end of the Weber game, I would agree. If they come out looking like they did at the beginning of the game, I will be concerned.

I also am hoping that the staff at NIU is taking every precaution to keep the turf in as good of condition as possible. Don’t want any injuries (on either side) from a wet and treacherous field.

You had me up until you said “and Shyne”. He’s got a serious case of the dropsies…the last thing I want to see right now is that man carrying a wet football.

But yes, I think the conditions could work in our favor thanks to Moss.
