let’s look at a few things.

The stats Iowa had on offense were almost identical to the Utes. We had two more yards and one more first down. Iowa was at home and we were playing on the road. The defensive stat were also almost identical. No one said Iowa had a bad game.

Covey or Kohvie had a great game.  He is a game changer and will be every week. He is amazing.

Our defense is solid and really hasn’t given up a TD in two games.

I believe our special teams issues can and will be resolved.

Do we need to improve on offense?  Absolutely.  We need to be more creative in play calling because we will not dominate the LOS.  Our offensive line is not very good.

Everyone is talking about how good ASU is. But, you could ask how is it that Utah State scored over 30 points on the road against MSU and ASU struggled to score 16 at home last night.  I am happy ASU won last night, but I think they are beatable.

Colorado had a nice comeback.  But, their defense gave up a ton of yards on the ground.

I think we are capable of playing well against all the teams in the South.  I am not so sure about the top three in the North.

PAC is weak and the season is young. Outside of Oregon, Washington and Stanford I am not overly impressed with anyone yet. Everyone has flaws.

The frustrating thing for me is it seems we have this conversation EVERY year. How come Whitt can’t figure out the O???

It’s been a series of well-intentioned moves that, in the beginning were justified, but then it has all just spiraled out of control with each passing year. Whit has hired ONE good OC since Ludwig left, but he left for the Hawaii HC job after just one year.

I firmly believe that if Chow had stuck around for 3 or 4 years, Whittingham would have gotten enough experience with a good OC to know how to find another good one.

I don’t necessarily disagree but 9 offensive coordinators is really laughable. IF Troy turns out to not be the guy I don’t think Whitt will ever figure it out.

Outside of a few play calls I wasn’t upset with anything on the offense, EXCEPT the offensive line. They are either geniuses and the best at rope a dope since Ali or they are very likely the worst offensive line in the PAC12 and top 10 worst in college football.

The Utes are known for good D lines but how is it in these 2 games we’ve seen more pressure more blow assignments or just getting flat out beat by their man then I can remember seeing the U’s DLine get that past few years combined.

Those fat people needed take a look in the mirror (hopefully it doesn’t get past them and sack the QB) and have a serious heart to heart and ask “am I just fat person who loves to eat that plays football or am I a PAC12 offensive lineman”. Because their performance these past 2 games has been an embarrassment joke, my apologies to the word embarrassment if that was insulting to you.
