      Please don’t get a gritty-like mascot.

Since 94′?  If the guy was 24 y/o when he started he’d be 48ish now.  That’s getting up there to be doing some of that stuff.

I used to work for the Game Operations division of the Jazz when we created the Bear mascot in 1994.  Correct, it’s the original guy.  He’s a tremendous athlete and is now in his late 40’s.  I hope things work out for him.

Didn’t he hurt himself on one of his stunts once?  I remember he toned it down for a few years after hurting himself. He was crazy during the golden years of Jazz basketball.

He broke his collarbone on this sled accident during his first year, but given the professional that he is, he stayed in character while still in the arena:

Yeah he is the best. I broke my collarbone after getting hit by a car. I thought my head was bleeding and just laid there.

      Cool Story, Bro time.

I dated a girl who dated the guy in charge of the Jazz bear back in the 90s. She said all he talked about was the bear. He was more interested in the bear than he was interested in her. There wasn’t a second date.
