Apparently, according to rumor posted elsewhere, if the Utes win their next 2 games (at UCLA & at ASU) and Oregon likewise (at Ariz & vs UCLA), the Oregon at Utah game could host GameDay on Nov 10 and has contacted the U to notify them of the possibility.

I’m so excited. I can’t wait until they can’t get a celeb picker and have to ask Jason Chaffetz the night before.

        Should be Joe Ingles.

It would be cool if they brought in some former Ute Players on a bye week.

The Broncos are off so they could bring in a gorup: Garett Bolles, Devontae Booker and Tim Patrick (they brought in a random music group, this would be better) or with the Ravens off they could bring in Eric Weddle.

My first choice would be Eric Weddle, and with him having a bye that week, it’s not unrealistic.

I just wonder if the GameDay scheduling team is smart enough to try and work that out or if we’re going to get someone unrelated to Utah like Frank Caliendo again.

Other good picks (IMO): John Stockton, Karl Malone, Donovan Mitchell, Dale Murphy, or Tony

Mitchell might have the time they play Boston at home the night before. He is having such a bad start to this season I think he needs to focus on ball not media appearances.

They already did Stockton right? Doubt they do it again. Malone would be fun.

Weddle would be my first choice.

I think you’re right on Stockton. Was that the TCU game in 2010? I had classes all day and couldn’t attend GameDay or the game (which was probably for the best).

Hopefully politicians won’t horn in on that.  Is John Stockton around?

Sorry, Joe is out of town. Is Jerebko available?

Would doubt he could make it but Haloti Ngata would be a good one – grad of Highland High and Oregon. He has been hurt the past few weeks and play at home against Dallas on Sunday night 11/11.

ehhh,  no thanks, yeah that would be cool if the game was at Oregon.

I feel like there are plenty of options, but gameday has been lazy about it. If it happens, I susepect it will someone unaffiliated with the University.

I believe Stockton did it for the Cal game (the Jared Goff 5 pick game). Weddle/Bolles/Patrick/Booker would be awesome.

I bet they go for Ken Jennings or some other BYU-P weirdo grad, thereby perpetuating all the myths people already have about the state of Utah.

Dickless Harmon, like they did when Utah got the PAC12 invite. What a f**k job that was…🙄

Him, Weddle, or Alex Smith are good options(if available), but we need to get game day before worrying about it.

Interesting possibility.  One factor that could weigh against it is that GameDay has already been at two Oregon games this year (home v. Stanford, and @ Wazzu).

Well, is Nike a big advertiser on ESPN or not?
