      Someone must think they’re clever. The Average score for utah is showing 67.2 but the median is showing 21.

      Someone predicted Oregon – 0 and Utah – 999

      I’m not saying it’s impossible, but highly unlikely he/she wins “predict the score” this week.

      A good lesson in the robustness of statistics: mean can easily be thrown off by a few outliers, but the median is a more stable consensus.   This is also true for things like salaries, personal income, household income, home prices, etc.
