      Terrible hire for the buffs, great hire for Utah.  But, honestly no one will scare me at a place like Colorado.

      How is he a bad hire?  It seems he has been successful at several places (DC at UGA the last few years, Asst HC/DB at Bama, 10 years as a DC in NFL with very solid Defenses, etc). 

      edit – the D at Chicago Bears was horrible under Mel Tucker 2013-2015, worst in program history.
