…and seems to have really good touch on his intermediate/deep balls.

He looks slow, but they can’t catch him. Guess I’m used to watching Covey highlight videos.

He is really deceptive.

Comparing a moose to a prong horn. Both have the appropriate speed in their roles. 🙂

He’s like Travis Wilson, slow strides but they eat so much ground.

There is so much upside to CR coming to Utah. Tuttle coning and going has many program blessings. Utah broke through landing a top level QB. Tuttle leaving shows the level of play is high at Utah. Not by accident, Utah has recruited two 4 star QBs in the past two years. CR fits the mold of Utah football- Big, durable, good speed, smart, player. Read all of the fan comments about him leaving Texas. Utah for a long time has needed a step up leader at QB. Moss, Anae, and others staying sends a huge message as well that Utah football is their family. If Puka flips on USC it will be huge turning point for the program. Samson will have a break out year next year most importantly for his team leadership. Would be awesome to see the Nacua brothers running up and down the field. This would be huge for Covey taking some coverage pressure off him. Utes are taking the next step up. Go Utes!

The only “blessing” is that CR cannot transfer from Utah. Besides that, CR and Tuttle are one in the same.
Both think they deserved to play, both ended up being 3rd on the depth chart. Only time will tell if either has the ability to be a starting QB.
It’s simply red goggles that makes some Utefans think they got the better of the deal. All we know is both CR and Tuttle didn’t cut it at their first stop.

Quit p**sing on these fine folks parade! Rising was up against far stiffer competition compared to Tuttle. Of course Utah came out ahead.

You could give Pace a briefcase full of cash and he would complain that it weighs too much.

LOL! It’s fascinating to read the progression of utehub group think.
CR has overnight become better than Tuttle and the best QB on the Ute team. Although no one on this board ever heard of him 3 days ago.
And Ludgwig is now the best OC Utah has ever seen ( ignoring the fact that most of you wanted him fired years ago)

Thank you for not actually addressing my point.

Best QB on the team? Better than Tuttle?says who?

One dude says they like rising better than Tuttle… soooo groupthink? Yeah… the thing about groupthink is, ya kinda need a group

At this moment, that comment has 11 thumbs up. How many are required before it becomes a group?

I just read the comment can’t seem to see where it says CR is better than Tuttle. It says there is upside to CR coming to Utah. Tuttle leaving may be a blessing etc etc.
Seems like many things with Pace. He is illiterate or he is unable to comprehend a positive or hopeful outlook. CR coming to Utah blows up every belief he has about Utah as a program so I could see where his little mind is not understanding.

Except Rising wants to be here and Tuttle doesn’t.

Will argue, Rising received much better 1st year college coaching at Texas then Tuttle. Ludwig will change that at Utah. Let’s be clear, Ludwig has without a doubt Utah’s best OC. Chow and Erickson were at the end of their prime when at Utah. Both in their own right top level guys in their prime years of coaching. Sanford and Mullen, early in their careers. Not sold on Sanford….Mullen is legit.
