      Interesting article. The only reason they sounded familiar to me was because they played East very early in the season (have a daugher at East). WA won by 20.

      Any reason why Coach K wouldn’t try to get any of these players or even at the very least make an appearance at their school? There may be no shot, I realize that, but why not try and get a relationship with the coach started. I don’t know, maybe he has but sounds like a no brainer.

      It’s crazy to me their is a high school in Utah and plays this scheudule and has some players like they do and most people has never heard of them before.

      Do you know for a fact that he hasn’t?  I’ve known of the school for 50 years.  When I was a kid, problem kids in Junior High and High School were often sent there by thier parents from East, where I went to school.  

      The Basketball program has been progressing for many years now.  When my son played at Judge some years ago they knew a few kids that played at WA and he competed against some of the WA kids in AAU.  I knew they were competitive, and but I had not heard about them achieving this level of success.  I would assume that Coach K is well aware of the school and has contacts there, but that is a big assumption on my part.

        Sure, they may have been around for 50, but as you said, who knew they were this competitve and talented as they are. I did mention that maybe he has reached out but there is no mention of that at all in the article. You would think if any of these kids were being recruited by Utah, that would be noted in the article. I don’t know if K has or is, which I why I am asking the question.

      5* Emmanuel Akot came out of Wasatch Academy two years ago, his final two were Arizona and Utah. He chose Arizona and the money.
