      that a team can exceed even my wildest expectations for the season and yet also disappoint me the whole time?

      How can it wildly exceed your expectations and probably not get an NIT bid. What has happened to Utah basketball?

      I think the Utes exceeded our expectation as far as the Pac-12 end-of-season standings, but the Pac-12 is so utterly terrible this year, that may have been more due to the level of competition dropping than the level of Utah’s play exceeding expectations.   Watching the Utah-Oregon game was painful after watching Marquette in the Big East Tourney earlier in the evening.
