I feel that there is a lot of potential for our football team to be very good.  However, it doesn’t appear that a solid Oline has yet to come together.  This concerns me.  We have a great RB and two expeienced QBs, a stable of good receivers; but if we don’t have a good line – we will struggle on offense.

I understand giving KW a raise; although I don’t agree with it.  He still needs to win those big games.  Oh well.

I would haved coach K on a very short leash.  He is highly paid, has great facilities.  There is no excuse for his teams to continue to be left out of the big dance.  I was happy that the team improved later in the season and I hope to see a much better team next season.

      Go Red Rocks!!!

I thought the Jazz would look better this season.  They have not been consistent.  Let’s see if they can do something in the playoffs.

I feel bad for Chase Hamsen.  He is a good guy and I am afraid he will now be undrafted due to injuries.  I wish him well.  I am glad he was a Ute.

I haven’t heard anything about Covey’s rehab.  I hope it is going well and can be 100% by the beginning of the season.

I can comment on your last thing:
I nearly ran into Covey with my car a couple days ago while he was crossing the street to go into the football center. I noted he did not have a brace on his knee and was walking without a limp. He did, however, still have a light splint on his wrist.

Don’t remember if I saw it on here or somewhere else, but read that Covey played half the season last year with a broken wrist. He apparently reinjured it in January lifting weights. Probably still recovering from that.

??, the Jazz are 11-1 in the last 12 and are within 2 games of the 3rd seed.  They played the toughest schedule in the league the first half of the season.  Trading for Conley would have helped immensely, but the team is playing great right now.

The Oline is replacing several guys and haven’t had much time to gel.  I’ll worry about that come week 1 if we haven’t fixed it.  No reason to worry after a few spring ball practices.  Most starters don’t play at all and several guys aren’t even on campus yet.

Oline won’t be ready I think until the first game. Even then Harding has repeatedly shown improvement as the season develops.

O Line is waiting for a number of guys to show up this fall. They’re really thin right now in spring camp and at this point they’re pretty gassed. Hopefully when reinforcements arrive, things will begin to take better shape.

Are you concerned about the Jazz because of the recent struggles against the Suns? They were missing Crowder, Korver, Rubio, Favors to name a few.

Edit: As far as the season as a whole goes. Gobert has improved in some aspect of his game every season. Mitchell is still a new star and needs a second consistent outside threat to thrive. After that what do they have in comparison with the rest of the west? Most teams sans the Spurs have more than one All Star on their team. Or if you are like the Warriors you have a s**t ton.

Thoughts on the jazz ..West got better, jazz pretty much stayed the same with some internal growth .. they’re still a piece or two away from truly contending , with no real answers insight . I think Dennis Lindsey completely blew it during the trade deadline; but that’s just me arm chairing it. Jazz better cash in this summer and not stay idle if they want to keep Rudy and DM long term; and signing back Rubio is not the answer, but they’ll probably will do it regardless, cause they’re MO has always been play it conservative.. I think this might be GS’s last run with Durant going to the knicks .. oh and Rudy and Mitchell are badass, love watching them play, most exciting Jazz team I’ve seen in a LONG while.

Harris Harris Harris. That’s what the Jazz need to get. They need to get that guy signed to a max deal somehow.
