He is chugging it beer bong style. He is stopping short of a CFP. He says Utah is most likely a two TD win over zoobies. Ignoring all the weird things and jinxes I guess. He believes Utah punches it’s ticket to Rose Bowl minimum.
I kind of feel the same way but I don’t know who will be the north champ. If it is Wazzu I am concerned to be honest. Leach just has our number.

if its the same ol offense – then no. Utah will not win the PAC12 championship game.
History is not our friend…

UtesbyfiveParticipant
And UW doesn’t?
-
EagleMountainUteParticipant
That whole LOSING 15 starters is a compelling argument for me. That is a lot of talent to replace. Yes Utah lost to them twice the past season. In fact I am the first to say Peterson pretty much owns Whitt. That loss in the p12 still can’t wrap my head around it….flukey ass play. I can’t even see that being replicated again.

The loss of Gaskin hurts them the most I think. Ahmed will be good, but Gaskin carried that offense on his shoulders most of the season, and I can’t see Ahmed doing that, at least not this year. He’s sort of like Shyne, but exchange the strength for speed. Just doesn’t quite hit the holes or let lanes develop as well as Gaskin. Honestly, this is the best year to have them on the schedule.

They also lost 10 defensive starters. They’ll take a step back this Fall, I wish we got them earlier than November 2.

A lot seem to think Oregon will be the N champ
-
UtemanUtefanParticipant
This is the opinion I can’t wrap my head around. Why is Oregon projected so well?
They had Herbert and the same coach last year and didn’t do very well at all.
-
UtesbyfiveParticipant
Projected #1 draft pick QB.
-
KiYi-UteParticipant
Oregon with a top 10 OLine is a big factor. Plus Herbert, plus the fact that they will always have a track-star RB and above-average WRs.
Their defense is also going to be quite good this year, I think. Their line will be above average and Troy Dye is likely an All-American LB.
Oregon vs. Utah Pac12 Championship Game.

I think Herbert is going to get hurt, and Oregon is going 7-5.

He was asking without turnovers, how does BYU win? If both teams play a clean game, how can BYU win that game. I have to agree with him, there is no way. Both teams come in healthy, no pac 12 championship game the next week. Utah will be focused squarely on BYU. Even a few years ago with 7 turn overs, Utah still won.
-
ChidojuanParticipant
I’m starting to get in the vanilla playbook mentality with this game. Run, run, run, play action, run, run, run, play action. Let’s see how long their depth can last.
-
EagleMountainUteParticipant
I wouldn’t mind that all. Play action burner to Dixon done and done.
-
UtMtBikerParticipant
He’ll need to catch them this season. Wash. State and ASU are different games if he does last year. Had other big drops too.
