If they announce position changes for Green and/or Brumfield in the next couple of weeks your prediction may have some legs. Otherwise play him 4, give him a year of strength and conditioning, and see if he pulls ahead of the committee in 20′.
Agreed, it was pretty frustrating at the end of last season when Green would rip off ten yards, come off the field and get yelled at by McDonald then Shyne would take 5 carries to get the same 10 yards.
Totally agree, although Green isn’t per-say a downhill running back, he was observably a better performer as a runner than Shyne. I think the reason that the coaches don’t want him as #2 is because he doesn’t block nearly as well as the other backs.
