        Agree.  The platform was always kind of strange to me. I think more butts watching the game is always better.

          The change didn’t actually change the projected seating capacity unforunatley.

            I don’t have a problem with the seating capacity at $52K (approx) but having people standing around on a platform seemed odd to me.  This venue will have people be more engaged in the game.

              Hi,  new poster here…

               

              am am I the only one who’d love to see the Olympic torch integrated into the design prominently?  Or at least preserved in the stadium?

                The torch has been discussed here before.  Some of us feel it would be nice to follow USC’s example and light it for the fourth quarter but it’s been said that it woudn’t be allowed.  (Not sure what the difference really is)

                  Even if we don’t light it, it’s an awesome artifact and one of the most unique things in college football.

                   

                  2 stadiums have a legit Olympic torch.  That’s unique.

                   

                  i really hope they integrate it.
