This is a good question.
A couple of things from the article:
1. I also LOVE how honest and realistic Whit is in speaking about the situation. He holds his cards close to his vest when it is beneficial, but when there’s no need he puts it out there.
2. I had no idea we ran the base nickel more than the standard 4-3 last year. Was that because our secondary was so strong, because it suited what we were playing against that much better, or because our other linebackers besides Gionni and Jared weren’t up to snuff? I tend to think the middle of those 3 options, but that’s just me.
