  Sorry for the negativity regarding the MBB program. Caleb is a huge get, and we have a lot of young talent, I’m just losing faith in our coach rapidly. Do we even have 10 guys to play this coming season? Honest question.

  2 of the top 3 all-time highest rated commits are in Utah’s 2020 class. And 2019 had 4 star Rylan Jones. Pleeeeease have this group stay together and bring back some Huntsman Center magic.

  As a guy who is a Utah basketball fan first (football second), I’m surprised that I’m less fired up about this than I should be. I guess the constant transfers have taken the shine off good recruiting news for me.
  
  But yeah, if LK can keep him around, this could be amazing. This kid is a straight up baller!

    Ditto. Usually I’d be stoked. And I am, but I don’t have that stoked glow news like this usually brings. I, too, am one of those “Ute hoops first” guys, but lately the weird state of the program (constantly one step forward, one step back) feels like any good news will soon be met with something to offset it.
    
    With that said, this kid looks like a good one. I hope this current and future batch of players stay, improve, and makes Ute hoops fun again.

  My hope is that the current state of the basketball program is not as bad as it looks from the outside. These kids are coming in on recruiting trips, talking with the current players, maybe have an insight that we don’t have, and are still choosing to come here. But yeah, we need to get these guys to stick around! If they do, future is looking bright.
