I hope for 8-4, but just because I have hope we can’t have that many injuries 3 years in a row. But when Whitt announces Rising is coming back for 8th year, my projection goes to 4-8. QB management has been a disaster.

This one is a downer, but it’ll be hard to keep all the guys you want to keep. It seems like the most important ones have been staying. It’s not like Fotu was incredible for us.

This isn’t surprising. And I’m not sure it increases the level of concern either (at least relative to where we were already at). Of course Oklahoma is going to beat us out for an OC. Hearing Whit would walk if given $10M buyout. But let’s look at the numbers from the contract.

Coaches out contract: $5.4M for 2025 + $5.9M for 2026 + $6.5M for 2027 = $17.8M + some incentives

I’m not sure why Whitt failing on offense should be a surprise.,,

He’s had a two month head start to find Ludwig’s replacement and is still playing katsup.

This is all bad news. It makes me sad where this is all going.

Not good. I expected a number of guys to leave. I hoped he was not one of them.

To make matters worse – I just heard that Whitt is not allowing Morgan to have the say he promised he would. Whitt is still in control and is letting everyone including Harlan know it. Harlan’s hands are tied.

I was under the impression he wasn’t okay being anything but QB at Utah. Seems like he is open to it now. Probably smart.

Unfortunately the radio silence can be interpreted as, or an indication that Whittingham has failed to lock down the 2nd top OC on the market. OU has theirs and now TT.
