And SalUteopia just donated the final $53.76! The fundraiser goal is at 100%! THANK YOU. Will make an official announcement. Additional donations are welcome, but I’m done doing the Jerry Lewis telethon for this year.

press-on started the topic THE NEW PLAN! in the forum Football 3 weeks, 5 days ago
Is this the new plan?….. ‘We’ve learned our lesson’. “We’re now looking at a plug-and-play scheme”. No more 2-3 years to learn the offense. Oh, and we’re goin’ need 40-45 new players next year to get this thing rolling ….’And don’t forget our new OC. And while we’re at, let’s consider opening practices again to the media and fans.
Wow! The…[Read more]

If you have any remaining cosmic juice in those wishes don’t waste them on Utah. That’s like digging up a corpse to put a bandaid on it. Use it on your team.

Kirby Moore was available last offseason and he seems to be doing just fine at his new spot.

I’ve never seen the playbook so I’m probably over my skis on this one but: the complication comes from the multiple ways to run a specific play. And that’s especially true for the blocking schemes. Do your guards have different reads when the play is calling for man blocking, than they would in zone or power? Toss in RPO and now you could have…[Read more]

I know Scalley is close friends with Kellen Moore and speaks to him weekly. That’s who I would want but likely a pipe dream considering the Eagles are playing well.

Wtf are you smoking? Whitt’s closed practice policy has been in place for many years.

with his shoulder, I think you’re correct. They played Mitchell a lot more in the 4th quarter, even when there was only an outside chance of a comeback.

We’ve seen what it’s like having a potent offense at 38 PPG and a potent defense….see 2021 and TT’s 21 TD’s…that was a fun year.

Even just your double capitalization of UTES deserves a thumbs up.

If I were the UTES I would move heaven and hell to get Alex Atkins to come over of the UTES as OC. He has had a down year with Florida State which has resulted in him being let go. But in all reality he is a victim of the inept Mike Norvell trying to save his hide as head coach. Alex Atkins is an ace recruiter and any solid players Florida…[Read more]

This is so bizarre to me, if our offense is just so darn complicated, why do we not see essentially any evidence for that on the field? Was it so complicated that literally no player has been able to master it? When I hear Whitt say things like this then look at our offensive production under Ludwig, and our record, it really just doesn’t add up.…[Read more]

Regarding Singer getting open, after seeing Vele’s success in the NFL I’m convinced it’s scheme. All the years he was there he and the other receivers weren’t getting open and I just figured they were mediocre and couldn’t get space. Yet, here Devaughn is playing at a high-level in the NFL.

I’m feel like Bernard is good for 8-10 strong runs a game, then he wears down and just doesn’t have the explosiveness.

Finally, statistical proof that Wilson is better than Rising. Truly a battle of titans.

Bernard is so low because he’s pretty much hit/miss on his carries. That ypc got inflated early in the season when he was breaking off a 50 plus every game. Now that he’s not breaking those, and not getting a ton of carries.,, he’s just not going to grade well when he doesn’t pile up a lot of “winning” runs.

OC under Meyer at Ohio State. Was reported to be a good recruiter. Would probably like a chance to rebuild his reputation for two years before getting his next HC gig

Don’t worry about us being wary or hating you outright we don’t hate anyone in the Big12 aside from BYU, who you’ll come to hate as well, ask most any fan with experience sharing a conference with them.
In terms of the online fanbase at this point it’s convenient that big 12 fans neatly separated themselves into two varieties. Those who are…[Read more]
