I have sometimes wondered if NIL has made players a little lazy. Since they are getting paid they don’t have the hunger to do all the little things outside of practice like mobility or flexibility work. I am old and know that is good for me and I don’t do it as often as I should.

That’s no bueno.

Whoever they hire just needs to improve QB play lol it shouldn’t be that hard after what we’ve witnessed the last 2 years. They also need to act quickly due to signing day coming up…so some urgency would be nice.

I heard from a former coach that the strength coach is to old school and doesn’t use flexibility training enough.

They addressed that this last offseason.

It would not surprise me. Somebody on here posted a few weeks back when the injury subject came up that a former player(I don’t recall which off the top of my head) said that he believed the players on the team weren’t doing things like they had done in the past like yoga to improve their flexibility and prevent injury. A strength trainer I know who used to be a trainer in CFB told me his theory is that the players aren’t taking care of themselves outside of practice and times with the team.
