The helmets look really cool but I am glad to know I am not the only one who thinks the interlocking U’s is a curse. It might be the old, superstitious hockey player in me but the throwbacks just don’t seem to to work this year.

Agree. The problem is if he’s mid at pass blocking, and the RG is woeful at pass blocking, then we have some problems straight up the gut.

I want to believe, but there’s not one area on offense that we are good at. Running? No, except maybe Iowa stat is really bad at run defense. Our RB is 220 ish graded at his position. Passing? All 3 QB’s are ranked below 300 in passing grades. I just don’t see it.

We are probably due to stumble into a win in the next couple games based on just sheer luck.

Those are some gorgeous helmets! I think we are going to win. Gut feeling. I have seen ISU play a few times this season and they will be one of the few teams we play that will not be faster than us at most positions (BYU being the other). I like our chances with a pumped up crowd and a healthy Isaac Wilson.

Program is a mess right now. Agree on fan support. Attended the TCU game, place was packed and fans going crazy. MUSS looks bigger every time I get to a home game. Why are Boise St. and Miami not being dinged for SOS like the Big 12 teams are? Boise has played one P4 team.You all know that a one-loss Big 12 team would never be ahead of a one-loss SEC or Big10 team because of SOS. Having all conference champions get an autobid would quickly reverse this trend of 18-20 team conferences and P2. Utah could go back to a regional conference with historical references as joining with schools in West Virginia and Florida would no longer be viewed as necessary to be included.
