Lots of eyeballs on this game being the early Fox time slot and CU. Exactly what players want.

I’ve learned that the answer to any question posed in a headline is usually: No.

I would say Utah coaches didn’t do anything wrong until you watch how Rising played. He clearly couldn’t grip the ball and could not plant his foot.
For totality of the situation you have to assume they were blind or inept.Rose wasn’t as obvious to me truthfully.
Utah coaching has been inept for sure but I would say they are choosing to ig…[Read more]

A victory or at least a close game will reveal the culture of the program. If Wilson can get a win it would be huge boost for him going forward and show his character as a leader.

The good thing about being the prettiest girl at the dance is you get to pick which guys you’ll pay attention to.
Jackson State and Colorado were schools willing to take a chance on a coach whose style score outweighed his resume. He’s now proven that he can outrecruit the standard at those schools while also winning games at a rate not achieved…[Read more]

The real question is, would playing make it worse?
If the answer is yes, then the coaches fucked up.
If the answer is no, then the next question is, does Rose want to play?
If the answer is yes, then the coaches didn’t do anything wrong.

We’re so short-manned, down FOUR QBs (if rumors of Wilson are true) and 2 of our best receivers.
Hard to see any wins this season I’m afraid, unless defense scores few times.

not looking back too far and not putting a lot of thought into this. coaches ran Zach Moss to the ground, Rising to the ground Kuithe to the ground, now Rose. what a pathetic offense minded staff! it all starts with the head man Mr Whitt must go home now.

Depends. I think this week Utah will actually not score at all offensively and might get 200 yards of total offense with maybe 3 first downs. That is how bad I think it will be. It’s turning a corner and then backtracking in the bend.
I just wonder if Utah’s defense will finally fold. They have problems but they generally do more than enough.

I don’t see it.
@ Colorado and vs Iowa State will be two of the best teams we have played all year and we are coming off of a heartbreaking rivalry loss.
@ UCF on a short week the day after Thanksgiving with nothing to play for but pride, most likely.

Those are pretty close to the 2023 numbers. Since it’s not being used to light the U anymore, someone needs to wire that detonator device to the offensive coaches offices and take them to rubble. Anything short of a complete rebuild at this point is a waste of effort and resources.

This is the tipping point for me. I’m done giving any benefit of the doubt to the coaching staff re: the onslaught of injuries the teams have suffered over the past several years. This is reckless and shameful–revelatory of the coaches utterly failing to prioritize player health and well-being.

Cal & Stanford took massive pay cuts. SMU agreed to ZERO tv revenue for 9 years to get to move up. Private schools like Stanford & SMU can afford to do those kinds of things. Cal could only afford to because UCLA is giving them half of their B1G money as a condition of being allowed to leave Cal behind.

I’ve pointed out that the last two games whenever I see Wilson on the sidelines he has his helmet on, almost as a talisman against his teammates. I’m obviously reading into it but with his body language and the things we are now hearing, it seems I was right to think the helmet being on wasn’t a sign that he was ready to go into the game at any…[Read more]
