BYU is playing very good football, but is it good enough to compete with the top 10? They’ll be lucky if they go undefeated in Big12 play. They could win the conference and they could also lose. If they are included in the CFP I think they lose, because I don’t think they are that good outside the Big12. Indiana appears to be a solid team. We will see.

Vegas set their win total at 3.5, they were only returning 2 starters on defense, and needed to replace 4 of 5 starters on the OLine. That doesn’t mean Holgerson ran them into the ground but they also weren’t a team primed for the next coach to get them back to respectable right away.

Houston has a good defense. They almost beat Oklahoma on the road early in the year. All the supposed G5 big 12 additions are doing fairly well in P4 football.
