Good to know who she is. I noticed her also. She must really be a fan, because I doubt her job description includes supporting the team by being on the sideline right by coach Whit!
Maybe she can offer some advice for handling the QB situation going forward?

I thought it was funny! I just wondered if people describe me as an older guy now since I am the same age as her. Ha Ha!

Looks like Smith is building a 3 point shooting team, which when hitting on all cylinders can win some games. Only problem, after the two Madsen brothers and maybe Mike S., there is no reliable outside shooter. Coach has his son on the team, and the only reason I can think of is he is a great shooter (Don’t know).
I had hopes for Erickson, and…[Read more]

While we need much more production from our struggling offense, we also need some “chaos plays” from our defense. We don’t really give up too many points, but need a few sacks and turnovers which have been few and far between this year.

Worst:
Johnny Harline. I can still see that circus defense in my mind. Ouch.Best:
Honorable Mention: 1997 – Darnell Arceneaux cleans up after Jonathan Crosswhite (again), and our defense (John Frank the tank) ate Kevin Feterik alive. I think we ran a surprise 3-man front most of the day, and still got pressure and sacks.2004: We beat the…[Read more]

I’m guessing they will have a plan to rattle Retzlaff. If it works, it will look great. If not, he will probably beat us for some big plays. On offense, I am guessing we will see a shakeup of the O-line, and a focus on running the ball hard. Control the ball, control the clock, have a chance to win something like 14-7 at the end. Or, maybe we…[Read more]

With Rising returning the focus shifted to the “throw game”. Paying Qb WRs and tight ends instead of JJ. Can’t replace a big back like JJ without $$. If we have more NIL we get JJ back and suddenly a Bernard JJ backfield looks pretty good. NIL is destroying under financed programs. If it weren’t for bad luck we’d have no luck at all.

If the sports gods are punishing the entire team and fan base because of some blowhards on Twitter, those gods can 🖕
But I’d like to think it’s more about the ebbs and flows of sports and not Zeus worrying about Cheese Fries and Pig Bus. -

Thanks for the breakdown. We’ve gone from the athletic Pac12 to the more athletic Big12. When will the coaches figure out we need athletes and development to be competitive or a rich sugar daddy to buy developed athletes. NIL is sucking the life out of our program.

Nice to watch a Ute victory after a rather rough month on the football field.
Would like to see more inside play as some nights those treys simply won’t fall.
Hope we get some of our post players back soon.
Guess Lohner will join in a few weeks. Will be interesting to see the reception he gets in Provo.
Found it curious that after starting…[Read more]

Just in time to rescue us from the misery that is college football, basketball season is upon us! To be fair, basketball probably won’t actually rescue us from misery, but at least there will be fewer timeouts along the way.

It’s one thing to knock them in your home, or on the home team board…but it’s another thing to go onto Twitter and make it known to the whole world and their fan bases.

I have four dogs. Two are 8, one is 7, and the last one is six. They’re such a part of my family’s life that I can’t even contemplate being without one of them. All I do is just tell myself to not worry about the future and enjoy them every day I have them.

There’s literally no stat I can think of that would favor us. It’s the Holy War anyway. I throw many things out the window. For both sides.

I lost my own pup in August. This makes me super sad.
I’ve had so many people asking me about Ben that I wanted to let you know-Ben had a 2nd chemo injection on October 23rd and from that day has been getting worse and worse. He has lost use of his back legs-almost like they’re paralyzed. He can barely walk. He hasn’t eaten in 3… pic.twitter.com/NTjX8Xc1zb
