Yeah, what they did to K-State really bothered me particularly with Penn State sitting idle and their big non-conference win against a 1-2 team. Miami gets a 2 spot bump for beating Ball State and Florida was beat just as bad by aTm with a freshman QB as Miami beat them. K-State blows out a top 20 opponent and the struggle at Tulane looks very…[Read more]

To hell with Notre Dame, what is concerning to me is that no Big12 teams are in the top ten and the voters seem to have placed a glass ceiling on the conference. Miami meanwhile has shot up the polls by firing another kill shot into the already dead Sunbelt Billy and beating a couple of high school teams. I swear, Utehub is the only place people…[Read more]

I dig the optimism.

Not true, Ritchie has been highly productive, when he’s on the field. Why isn’t he playing in front of Gilman?

He did this when he was DC. It was awesome. He’d tell you what would happen in every WAC game and then on Saturdays it would happen.

I so appreciate that the coaching staff basically owned the fact that they were a major part of the first quarter issues because they tried to outsmart themselves. I have wondered with Lander if he is the green dot when Reed is not out there. Being responsible for lining up the defense plus trying to do too much knowing that he is playing with…[Read more]

I don’t think the bubble wrap is necessary so long as there are no 300lb metal billboards, masquerading as a hydration station, with sharp metal edges, sitting 5 yards off the field of play. The finger laceration has to be up there with the Reggie Bush ACL tear due to cleats slipping on concrete in St. Louis as the most absurd, random sports…[Read more]

Only-U Kanobi. The one and only. You think Whitt helicoptering in for the Corner Canyon game helped at all with us and Jerome?

If Cam starts, we win this game by 2 scores.
If Wilson starts, we most definitely can win but it would be a dogfight.
But it’s all irrelevant because Cam is starting.

Redblood,
I completely agree that the safeties played poorly against USU but that’s just not true for the Baylor game. In fact, I’d have given Ritchie player of the game. I think he was one of the leading tacklers and I think he had the defensive play of the game when he fought through a double team and made a terrific tackle on a key third down…[Read more] -

Wouldn’t mind a 3 safety look although our safeties outside of TAO haven’t impressed either. Too bad that we are not quite deeep enough at either position.

Yeah, there’s no way Cam is out vs OSU unless he gets a new injury in practice this week.

I have NO connections to anyone on the team or any reliable sources, just pure optimism (belief). But I am prepared to eat a MASSIVE piece of humble crow if I am wrong…BUT if they win, I won’t have too!

I don’t think Rising will be a go for the OSU game, and that is okay because I believe Wilson will do very well against OSU! I see the team jelling with Wilson in the first three games boosting confidence amongst the team and Wilson himself. I think we are in for a very good surprise (praying!) this coming Saturday! Maybe I am getting ahead of…[Read more]

Good points. The coaches learned a lot in these first 3 games. Even with Wilson getting more reps than Cam it’s clear we can throw the ball. Singer and Parks are big play receivers and our tight ends can get open. With a potent passing attack our RBs can be effective when called upon.

I’m a McClain promoter. Had like 18 yds per reception last year and this year doesn’t play? There has to be a proverbial doghouse on this team.

I get you Tony, but think back, has there ever been a time in the last 20 years that it wasn’t the case the opponent had guys running free with a step or more only to watch the ball fall harmlessly to the turf? When you run man free it is a byproduct. But something must be going right on the front end to cause it. Accumulation of hits,…[Read more]
