Honestly, probably to 6 or 7, but sigh. The silver lining with SMU playing well and Iowa St still winning is that we have a few games that could be marquee type game. Hell, if they haven’t lost more than 1, maybe even a game day or big noon for the holy war would be possible (or foe the Iowa St game if the same is true.

Yeah, and if we can turn things around from last week, we have a road ahead that now has a lot of opportunity. BYU may still be ranked by the time we play them, Iowa St is stringing together wins, too. Crazy day- for rankings Sometimes it’s just as good to not play them it is to play. I don’t think we deserve to be higher than 18 until we start playing better.

It’s crazy how much more fun to watch and effective other teams’ offenses are. Even the ones with low talent are making plays and they feel extremely varied in what they’re calling. I see chunk yardage so much more frequently.

Very disappointed in lack of creativity and not taking what the defense gives you last week. We have big tight ends but most can’t run away from coverage. Why not curl patterns? Run 5 yards and turn around. Make the defender run through you to get the ball.
