I thinks we should give Rose a chance in practice to beat out Wilson. He has probably already been given the opportunity but got beat out, unless there is some external pressure to play Wilson. I would actually like to see him play a full half just to see how the team responds to him. It really can’t get any worse.

2008, but yes. Whitt is a coach whose averages 4 losses a season. He’s a good coach. I’ve never called for him to be fired, but he also isn’t a great coach that should get a statue.

The only spoil in this team is playing like spoiled milk.

Offense or Defense?
As a position coach or a coordinator?

What an insane season. 36 days ago we were #12 and just beat #14 OSU in Stillwater. Massively disappointing turn of events. I still trust in Scalley for the future but this season has been disastrous.

Yeah I don’t understand the Harlan thing. He came in with a already long tenured HC. Harlan has nothing to do with what’s happening right now with the football program. And I don’t see how he would impede Morgan as HC in anyway.

And most of the blame has to go to the coaching staff. Most of that blame has to go to the man on top. He is ultimately responsible.
I am not smart enough to know why, when, and where this season went so bad, but it has.
I have never (in over 60 years) been so upset with our football program. I really cannot explain my disappointment.
IMO,…[Read more]

Harlan, Harlan, Harlan…
What exactly has he NOT done regarding the football program that should have been done?
I hear tons of bitching about him, but it’s hard to see why the collapse of this team is his problem.

I do know, but I don’t think it right thing to say. He is an assistant on a college team in Utah.
I personally think it would be a good get for the Utes.

If the rumors are true then Wilson should probably keep his hands to himself. The rumor is a locker room fight after TCU and Wilson punched someone.

Yeah, I was about to say that he could have been a hero but ended up a zero. His interception led directly to Utah’s loss.

The Miami Ute replied to the topic Scalley vs Whitt in the forum Football 8 months, 2 weeks ago
Make a bowl game? It’s more likely that Utah gets blown out in each of the remaining games.

I would prefer number 2, primarily because it’s the only one of the two scenarios that’s plausible. No way, no how that Whitt calls it a day while the season is still on…in his mind that would really tarnish his image/legacy and come across like a turd in a punchbowl.

Well, his average completion length was 3 yards, he repeatedly threw into coverage, and he had the game deciding interception. So basically a model Utah quarterback if you ask me.

Based off results would it be a bad thing if people transferred out of the program? Need to find guys that have chip on their shoulder, and a QB that can make a basic throw. Most importantly an OC that isn’t predictable who doesn’t have route concepts that take forever to develop.

1. You’re not going anywhere or doing anything, so learn to embrace the spoiler role.
2. The season’s goals are no longer attainable, so feel free to play without any pressure.
3. It’s obvious that the “stars” aren’t getting it done, so, if it hasn’t happened yet, let’s start giving some playing time to the guys playing well in practice.
4. If…[Read more] -

I totally get it.. This is what I posted earlier: I still truly believe the future of Utah football is still in good hands. I know right now with how raw and ridiculously disappointing everything feels like the program is completely lost. But it’s not. The thing about this day and age of college football is things can turnaround in a hurry. The…[Read more]
