I did some research and Whitt’s latest extension, which happened in 2022, has a lot of quirks. For example, it includes promises of free tuition for his grandchildren, a $1 million lump sum retirement payment, and a 5-year, $995,000 per year contract to serve as special assistant to the AD when he hangs up his whistle.

I know of at least 1 sack where the TE (I think Kuithe) was given the DE to block and just missed completely. The TEs have been a disappointment and I’m not sure Kuithe should be out there. He doesn’t have the same speed since his injury.

I’d like to see more 5-10y TE passes and more screen passes (which I normally hate) to get the ball out of Wilson’s hands faster. I’d like to see another RB carry the ball 10-15 times and not hate life…I don’t care which one but someone has to start developing to back up Bernard.

As of today, Utah has the 20th ranked defense in the FBS. They’re just behind Georgia and just in front of Miami.

Stop the fear mongering. The portal giveth and the portal taketh away. We’re going to have a good O-Line come back and a good defense. That’ll continue to be our mantra with Scalley. I’m excited to get some younger coaches in and to see if they vibe with recruiting better than Ludwig.

NIL money, NIL money, NIL money, followed by playing time…those are the only things that really matter nowadays.

We’ve got to get Wilson in a situation for some quick hit throws. He holds onto the ball for way too long when given normal developing plays. Either that or the rest of the offense dislikes him and has not intention of working to get open. I’m not sure where the problem lies.

All depends on how the rest of the season goes and NIL money.

Man Pedro it would nice if we came out in some different formations and move Singer and Kuithe around in different spots. If they’re blitzing almost every play tight end 5-10 yrd hook. Swing pass to the back in the flat. QB roll out. If every blitz turns in to a 10 yrd gain they might quit blitzing?

I would like to see us have a plan for when Houston blitzes the $@$@# out of us, because they will. The ball needs to come out of Wilson’s hands much faster.
