I’m taking a wait and see approach. Miro Little was supposed to be much more of a finished product, and we saw how that relationship turned out. This guy is younger and much less experienced than Little. If he can play 8-10 productive minutes a game in his first season, I’d call that a win. Another thing about videos like this…keep in mind…[Read more]

Looks solid off the bounce. Gives effort on D. If he can shoot the three, we may have something here…

Very exciting! Kid knows how to get to the rim and seems to have a high motor to go with some nice skills.

He’s thick like Colllier and a “bulldog” on defense and when driving to the hoop.

He looks quick. Seems to play really hard on defense which I like. Some of those steals in the highlights were really nice.

This roster is looking good! By far the most athletic team the Utes have had in years. AJ is tuned in and knows exactly how he wants the team to look. First time in years I’m excited for BB season. This team has a Houston feel to it. AJ will develop these athletes into team and role players.

I hoped when Jensen was hired that we could tap into the Hanno Mattola pipeline. They played together from 97-99. I am not sure that this came through his connection with Hanno, but I think we will see a number of Finnish players at Utah during the Jensen era. (Mattola is a coach on the Finnish national team.)

I used to park on Sunnyside Ave in the park. It was nice to walk to the game, get to sightsee through the tailgate lot. Somewhere a few years ago, I started to ride Trax when parking was full 4+ hours before the game. I now park in the Trax lot on 2100 S. They have the Police building there, and have never had any problem with vandalism or…[Read more]

“9/10 emails I receive from U OF U are solicitations for money.”
This estimate may be low.

The only time I ever parked at the stadium was when I was going to the U. After that, I’ve always taken TRAX to games.

Yeah, it seems like even if the Jazz do get a all star player; they will end up wanting to leave anyway.

I would say they tanked the 2011-2012 season and drafted Klay Thompson

I don’t think GS ever tanked. Steph was #7, Klay #11, and Draymond was #35 in their respective drafts, plus most of their role players are late 2nd-rounders. I’d be more worried about the Jazz’s last two drafts, where they had 5 1st-round picks and multiple 2nd-round picks, with only Collier and Flip appearing to be decent role players. The OKC…[Read more]

Unfortunately there is no salary cap or restrictions on free agents in college. Can imagine what the NBA would look like if the same rules applied.

Tanking only seems to work for certain teams (Golden state, etc…). The NBA is broken and has been for quite some time.

Has Smith and Ainge run the Jazz into the ground? Tanking two years in a row for a 14% chance of getting a potential superstar seems a big risk. Indiana is proving that you don’t need 2 or 3 superstars to win. Sloan is rolling over in his grave. SGA is a developmental superstar. The pacers and thunder are winning with up tempo offense and lock d…[Read more]

Can someone give me one good reason they won’t sell season tickets in the upper bowl? I just don’t get it. I would rather sit in the upper bowl towards the center than behind the basket in the lower bowl.
