It was good but we’re not here to win press conferences. My expectation is 6 wins AND win a bowl game until proven other wise.

If he does leave I’ll bet you see over 50 players hit the portal in Boulder. They aren’t there for CU. They’re there for Sanders.

As far as a new coach goes they have to shoot the moon. Urban, Saban, Kingsbury maybe Orgeron…after that you go after former NFL players in the coaching ranks.

I’m taking the same stance. We get this song and dance every season how this is the best fill in the blank we’ve ever had. Blah blah blah. Only to find it underperforms in game.

As I mentioned elsewhere, Cam’s dad told me that if he plays, Cam will likely be somewhere other than Utah.

Interesting point about the audibles. Remember another successful QB at Utah that did the same? BJ.

Is Beck Canadian? Once in a while he had some kind of “hoser” accent. Or maybe upper midwest?

Among my proudest Ute moments were watching Cam dive into the end zone in the closing minutes to beat USC and then beating the Trojans again in Vegas to win another PAC12 trophy.

But time to clear the way for another leader at QB.

I was already excited about the Beck hire, but listening to him speak both about personnel and his philosophy have me even more hopeful we got a good one.

Utah sports talk radio 101 content is capturing both BYU-Utah, and the hybrids. Kall 700 is very protective of KW. Technically Whitt said, “He’s not on the current roster.” That would leave the door open. I am not suggesting or hoping that Cam stays. I’m just saying that Whitt’s words were carefully parsed, leaving the door open.
