Trump is dope

Someone I sit with at Utah hoops games is no longer talking with his brother as they have very different opinions on how they feel about POTUS. Rather unfortunate.

I don’t know how I feel about this, I haven’t read the bill, but the sponsor, Jordan Teuscher, is a BYU alum and a self proclaimed BYU fan in his twitter bio. Also this is the same guy who introduced the bill to get rid of collective bargaining for public sector unions so…I don’t know what to think.

I’m tempted to just delete this post (no offense). Also, this is the wrong category. The last post that had remotely political content stirred up a bunch of tribal rhetoric on both sides of the discussion, got people pissed and arguing, pitch forks etc. And I had several people ask me to delete their accounts, even after I told them they could…[Read more]

Myself I don’t mind commenting but I think it is important to be able to see if it is in the political forum. Politics are good topics among respectful people, however, as we learned on the previous Ute site it is a topic that can become emotional and divisive. Wouldn’t it be great if the price changed based on performance?

I have some strong opinions about what is going on in Washington. However, I do not want this board to become like UteFans. I will go somewhere else to share my political views.

Does it bother anyone else that Harlan cannotwill not explain where this money is going, especially after the ’22 and ’23 seasons where we had record revenue in football?

My W-14 Row 22 (2 tickets) total cost went from $2,680 to 2,800
My N-25 Row 39 (2 tickets) total cost went from $1,030 to 1,100

I figured I would continue to get season tickets until I turn 70, in two years. Although the cost is getting me close to the tipping point, the real problem for me are the kick-offs after 8:00 pm.

I think many of the voters are only paying attention to overall record and not the specifics and that’s why the Utes are stuck in ‘receiving votes’ purgatory.

Hopefully (if Utah finishes strong) the committee considers more details, including that all three Big12 losses you listed were when McQueen was out.

It’s surprising, given her overall play. Oddly, her FT% has dropped every year (75, 73, 67, 55).

I wondered at the time if her missing those two free throws against LSU her sophomore year would mess with her confidence. Maybe it did with the 5% drop, but the 12% drop this year is something else.

Worster was by far our greatest loss in the transfer market. Wasn’t a player to have a 30pt triple double but was a consistent contributor who pretty much every single game had a good number of assists and rebounds and a handful of baskets and made relatively few errors. We have not had a decent point since Delon Wright. Davon had flashes late last year but was not consistent. Men’s college basketball is a guard dominated game. We are in a conference with some really top notch guard-driven teams and our record shows our deficiencies big time.
