I don’t think he’s that stupid.

I don’t think so. Whitt isn’t likely to settle going out with a pretty average team, especially with 2026 being a solid-expected team.

Unless Utah major surprises and wins the Big 12, I think Whitt will see it through 2026. Just hard imagining him retiring on a 8-5 or 7-6 note and that’s likely what Utah is looking at this year.

I think this is the last year for Coach Whit as HC but believe he will stay on staff in a “CEO” type role for 3-5yrs.

I kinda view the mountain states as one big related geography, even though there are sub regions within. Usually when im chatting with my Euro colleagues, I say the mountain states in the western US or something.

PAC 12 conference games trumped non-conference. I am more excited about the UCLA and WYO game than conference games. I’ll probably go to the WYO game.

I’d love their commitment and they should be super easy to get considering they grew up big Utah fans. But honestly I expect them to go to BYU. The Light of Earned Respect will eventually shine on RES,

while the erroneous Hate will rightfully shift to the south.

UCLA will be a big game. It’ll be our first look at the new offense. I think Texas Tech is bigger, though. With Big 12 Championship = CFP spot, I can’t put a non-con game over a conference game. Plus, Texas Tech has DL transfers that they’re excited about. We’ve got to see them match up against our OL.

Meanwhile I have UCLA circled. Was the 2 LA schools that bailed on the PAC so they could be 2000 miles away from most of their conference and led to the entire west becoming a fustercluck.
