Joel Klatt says that he is buying Utah. Hope he’s right.

I would say the fact that we’re at 27 is impressive enough! We should be in the top 25 after week one!

Had a seven game losing streak last season ending with no bowl appearance. Need to start season off with a win in Pasadena to get some respect back.

I don’t care who is ranked before the season starts. It makes for good sports board discussion, but that’s about it. Get back to me at the end of the season and tell me who is ranked.

High rankings got us nowhere the past two years. This team is highly motivated. Pretty tough to break the top 15 these days. Lots of $$ and good teams.

Hopefully, the offense scored more points.

I think the UCLA game will be the test of how good this team can be. Scrimmage is like pre season NFL. You can get glimpses of talent but until the game lights come on you never really know who will step up and who will fold.

Congrats to Tyler for getting the best job in the world, professional benchwarmer. BTW, I don’t mean this sarcastically. Seriously, its a sweet gig. Virtually no responsibility, amazing pay, all without any of the stress or negative physical consequences of being a contributor.

If Whitt needs to satisfy some desire of his by stirring up unnecessary QB drama, its fine with me so long as it is with the QB2 spot and not QB1.

He’s really talented and he chose us so I’m on team Merriweather! Probably won’t be perfect but I’ll be shocked if he doesn’t produce when healthy. Oh, and word on the street is the young TE JJ is REALLY turning heads!

They had one. The team was split into two and they played against each other. One team did better than the other and won.

Good leadership for this team – both captains and the council. The team is leaning hard on the veterans. All of these guys have a significant care factor and a love for the program. Dampier, Parker and perhaps a receiver will get their turn next year.
