My pleasure, pedro.
Football in 2021. Bank on it. 😉
We’ll have to wait until ’23 for a return to the NCAA title game, but we’ll lose to Duke by 3. Damn! It hurts to even say it.
OC at Houston 2017-2020, Whitt retires after 2020, BJ gets hired for 2021 season. Sounds perfect!
We will have a new AD well before then so it will be our job to keep him in the loop and informed on BJ.
Well crap that didn’t work…

Utah and tds Extend Football Series
SALT LAKE CITY—The agreement between Utah and tds to play each other annually on a home-and-home basis has been extended two years through 2022, both schools announced today. The two teams were already contracted to play through 2020. Future Utah-tdsfootball games are scheduled as follows:
Sept. 9, 2017, at tds
Nov. 24, 2018, Salt Lake City
Aug. 29, 30 or 31, 2019, at tds
Sept. 3, 4 or 5, 2020, Salt Lake City
Sept. 11, 2021, at tds
Sept. 3, 2022, Salt Lake City
“This game has a great deal of interest throughout the state and both schools worked hard to find dates in 2021 and 2022, even as long-term scheduling has become very difficult,” said Utah Director of Athletics Dr. Chris Hill.
Hopefully this means we are dumping the zoo that year.
Any team from Texas and/or Florida. You can pretty much pick and choose a ‘G5’ or ‘P5’ in those states. Army would be a good game since the SEC and B1G consider them ‘P5’ even though I think Utah would throttle them. A home-and-home with Ohio State would be unbelievable! I can’t understand why that hasn’t happened yet and I haven’t even heard of it being discussed? Who knows if Urban Meyer will be there in ’23 and beyond? We get Baylor in what… 2021-22? We know what to look forward too for the next five years and it’s very disappointing.
Well, at least Utah will most likely keep its great OOC winning percentage since joining the Pac-12 for the next five years.
