       2008 Utah beats this Cincinnati team and has a decent shot at beating this Bama team too.

      I’d feel pretty good about this year’s team against either of those teams as well. Utah has been playing well lately, but perhaps I am blinded by my fandom; maybe the appearance of success is due to an apparently incredibly weak PAC-12.

        I totally agree. I think an argument could be made that post-September Utes are the GOAT this year
