UW and USC game will decide the season. ASU to some extent, but good thing we get them at home.
-
Virginia UteParticipant
Glad we get a patsie Idaho State warm-up game just before USC.
-
SalUteopiaParticipant
I change my take on ASU. They won’t have Wilkins or Harry, but their schedule is very easy. They miss UW and Stanford, and they play UO, WSU and UA at home. They will be in the South race. Need to win that game.

There’s no reason why we shouldn’t end up in the Championship game again next year.

I like this schedule a lot. Sets us up for a good shot at the South division title again. Nice!!!

Love this schedule. I think next year is Rose Bowl or busy with all we have coming back.

EagleMountainUteParticipant
*8 Home games. Rice South is like 45 minute trip.
-
StoneParticipant
2 bye weeks? How did that happen? Is the season longer next year?
-
EagleMountainUteParticipant
Daylight week savings. Happens every 59 years.
-
StoneParticipant
So the Pac12 championship will be played a week later next year (this year was on Nov. 30, same day as Utah plays Colorado next year). Are the other conference championship games a week later also, or is the Pac 12 game moved to give it more attention?
-
EagleMountainUteParticipant
It is on Friday again so no one cares. The conference without tv deals is left out in the cold.

Who does Leach have that will throw for another 5k yards in a season?

UteThunderParticipant
Probably some walk-on.

Looks like all teams have 2 bye weeks next season except USC. Their 2nd bye week is the final week of the regular season.
I like how ours are scheduled though in that we play 5, rest, play 4, rest, play 3.
Below is how each team’s schedule plays out with the number of games between bye weeks:
Cal (6, BYE, 2, BYE, 4)
OR (4, BYE, 5, BYE, 3)
OSU (3 BYE, 4, BYE, 5)
STAN (6, BYE, 2, BYE, 4)
WASH (8, BYE, 2, BYE, 2)
WSU (5, BYE, 3, BYE, 4)
AZ (3, BYE, 6, BYE, 3)
ASU (5, BYE, 3, BYE, 4)
CO (4, BYE, 6, BYE, 2)
USC (5, BYE, 7)
UCLA (6, BYE, 3, BYE, 3)
UTAH (5, BYE, 4, BYE, 3)Too bad I can’t post a PDF. I’ve organized all the information for each team’s schedule. It’s easier to read that way.

Pac 12 immediately ruled OUT of 2019 playoff upon release of football schedule. #Pac12 #CollegeFootballPlayoff #USCTrojans #Waterpolo @MrCFB https://t.co/WD8U6iL1cb

This is TIC of course, but yeah, pretty much!Best part:
No other team Pac 12 school is believed to be serious 2019 contention. The committee has suggested the conference should consider adding a strong team from the Mountain West, perhaps Utah.
