“I like the offense and how balanced they are. They mix it up and Tyler (Huntley) did a very good running the show. Their offense is very similar to what we do at Cajon, just different terminology and verbiage. I sat in on some meetings with coach Taylor going over the offense and we run a lot of the same concepts so I think it’s an offense I could pick up pretty quickly.”

      How optimistic are you feeling?

The trend is pointing to Utah, however, as some of the UCLA predictions are from May.

It’s actually 47/37 with most recent Crystal Balls going towards Utah. The lead expert on his recruitment has him as Utah CB and a lot of other people with inside sources.

I’d say 85% coming to Utah.

Does anyone know how a “crystal ball” trend is set or changes over them. Subjective ranking by a group of experts? Empirical numbers such as tweets by the recruit?

The staff at 24/7 makes a guess. They determine the percentages based on their guesses.

Rivals has him 100% Utah. Not sure who is more trustworthy – Rivals or 247.

Heard reports this is one of the worst quarterback classes coming into college. Get he’s highly rated, but what are some realistic expectations of the kid?

To put it in perspective, at the simple recruit-based level taking position out of the equation, he’s ranked higher than Jack Tuttle was in last year’s class. Tuttle was ranked 167th overall last year, and the 9th best pro-style QB. Daniels is ranked 102nd overall and the 2nd best dual threat QB.

Even if this year’s QB class is weaker overall, Daniels is still a better prospect than Tuttle was last year.
