Miki Sugururaga (me-key soo-ga-too-wrong-guh) hails from Kaneohe, Hawaii where he attended Punahou School. At Punahou School he was named 2016 ILH Division I Defensive MVP and first-team USA Today All-USA Hawaii. He also competed in Track & Field, discus and shot put. At Utah he redshirted in 2019, played in two games in 2020 and played in seven games at DE in 2021, highlight by strip-sack against Stanford. Expect to see increased playing time for Miki in 2022 as 4 top players will likely see significant snaps at DE (Van Fillinger, Jonah Elliss, O’Toole, & Miki).
