      SALT LAKE CITY – The seventh-ranked Utah cross country team compete in the NCAA Mountain Regionals at Timpanogos Golf Club today. The 6k race is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. (MT). Admission is free.

      The NCAA Mountain Region is once again loaded with seven of the 15 teams competing ranked in the top-25 of the USTFCCCA rankings while 4-of-7 ranked are inside the top-10 – including No. 7 Utah. In addition, the Mountain Region field also boasts four conference champions in BYU (WCC), Colorado (Pac-12), New Mexico (MWC) and Utah Valley (WAC).
       
      New Mexico is the highest ranked team in the Mountain Region checking in at No. 2 while Colorado and BYU follow at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively. The Utes round out the top-10 at No. 7 for their second-highest ranking in program history while Northern Arizona (No. 18), Colorado State (No. 19) and Utah State (No. 22) close out the top-25. Weber State is the lone team also receiving votes in the USTFCCCA National Poll.

      I may not agree with some of your posts.  However, I do appreciate the time you take to post about our Utes’ participation in some of the lower-profile sports.
