I was talking to my wife the other day and commenting on what a great sports program DU has for being a smaller school.
DU usually has a top 20 women’s gymnastics team, reached the final four in men’s soccer in 2016, but they have won NCAA national championships in Men’s LAX and then last night in hockey in the past three years. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denver_Pioneers
DU is the only team west of the mississippi to ever win the LAX national championship.
Their skiing team has 14 men’s national championships, and 9 combined which are the most by any school.
They won the Lacrosse national championship in 2015, skiing in 2016 and now hockey in 2017. That’s pretty good.
