It was January One, of Twenty Twenty-Two

Ohio Came to Bury The Utes All Wrapped in Red and White

The Words Were Said, The prayers Were Read, and Everybody Cried

But When they Closed the Coffin, There was Someone Else Inside!

 

The Bucks Came to Bury The Utes – But Utah wasn’t Dead,

And When the Game Was Over, It Was Someone Else Instead.

 

Twenty-Two Utah Utes Put On The Gloves Of Gray,

And as The Band Played The Utah Fight Song, They Laid Ryan Day Away!
