Actually good to see this, its amazing that he ws able to come back, but for his future life with his family, etc, glad he is not putting his health on the line every Sunday.
Best decision he could have made. Alex is a legend. And if he doesn’t want to coach at Utah, I hope he spends the rest of his life living off his money, eating mangos in Trinidad with his family because he’s earned every second of it.
I’ve also seen some buzz about smith going to the jags to help out his former coach. By the sounds of it he might take some time off first to be with his family.
Congrats to Alex on a great career! Clearly one of the most successful Ute QBs we have had.
Its been too long since we have had as good a QB as Alex. I think lately coach Whit and staff has made some improvement in the recruiting for this vital position. Hopefully we start getting some quarterback players with NFL potential like Alex.
