Not too worried about it, Barefield tested the waters last year, Collette the year before that, and both came back. The fact that Jayce Johnson’s name is also there is ….. interesting. Couple that with the report in the Trib that reportedly Johnson feels he should be more involved in the offense and methinks that he has a higher opinion of his ability than is actually warranted.
As ironman said it could be good if he gets an honest assessment from the NBA scouts and he responds by making improvements where needed. Much better than listening to parents or “fat little girlfriends” (as Mike Leach calls athletes’ groupies).
Just want to clear something up – College basketball players CAN sign with an agent (certified by the NCAA) during the draft review process and still return to school. This change was made last August.
